About the Health Defence League

How did all this start? Why do we need the Health Defence League?

Change is A Team Effort

Since the beginning of 2019 our world has changed for good.

The Health Defence League was officially formed during September 2021. It is a voluntary association “Universitas”, incorporated under common law. It has a non-profit structure and functions as an independent legal entity.   It had become clear that communities were being ignored, bullied, lied to and forced into actions that limited their human rights.

After many discussions, trials and disagreements on certain areas, Harald Sedlacek and Martin Wucher signed a resolution to extend the management structures to more members and move forward. The idea was to have more minds, more capacity and more democracy. Not everyone agreed with this plan. Mr Nutt choose not to engage in any activities after that and is currently not part of the management of the HDL. Everyone else involved however, decided to apply democratic principles that are guided by consensus from the majority. The new interim steering committee was formed. These committed and highly motivated individuals, all signed commitments to take our new community forward. Everyone is focused on the aims as set out in our constitution.

The aim in today’s crazy world is to connect like-minded people, communities and networks.  We then share common resources like brain power, knowledge, information and funding. In the end all this will be employed to protect members that are bullied, forced to do things they don’t want or attacked. To achieve this, we do not need more manipulation, fear and guilt. We need more TRUST. How do we get trusted? It is simple. We do what we say we will do. This is what we stand for.

The information below, explains why we need the HDL. It tells you what will be the focus of this organization. The HDL is not about individuals. It is a community. From now on, we will work together with all persons and entities that share the same values and believes.

BACKGROUND

  • Events since the start of the pandemic have shown a trend towards centralized control and unilateral decision making by national governments and their multinational corporate partners.
  • We have been confronted with 24/7/365 rhetoric and propaganda driven by governments, institutions, and the mainstream media.
  • World economies have been destroyed and may never recover. Businesses and livelihoods in the economic middle and lower income groups have been devastated.
  • Many people have succumbed from an infection. While the resulting mortality have been terrible and have left very few of us unscathed, the major damage to societies resulted from actions taken by governments.
  • This was accompanied by an unprecedented spate of censorship in all known forms of traditional private and public media.
  • In addition, countries worldwide are experiencing a spate of government actions against their own people without established channels of deliberation, consultation, or public participation.
  • The above has not gone unchallenged and individuals and entities have begun to highlight alternative scenarios and views. This has been met with fierce opposition.
  • Recently some highly qualified individuals have come out highlighting their views and showing up discrepancies in the common mainstream narrative.
  • These individuals and entities have come under extreme attacks including media assaults, labelling, gaslighting and framing by followers of the mainstream narrative as well as government communications paired with mainstream media.
  • This assault has been coordinated and executed by modern media in all its forms.
  • Although some people and groups have accepted and followed the public narrative, the majority is still not sure and is skeptical about what is being presented. Many of them seek honest answers to their questions. These can only be found in open debate.

THE CURRENT STATUS

  • The above developments undermine and threaten human rights to the extreme. These are:
    • Freedom of speech
    • Freedom of choice
    • Nürnberg Code
    • Helsinki Protocol
    • Rule of Law
    • The spirit of Constitutions
  • Individuals and small groups as well as online chat groups do not have the resources to align, cooperate and protect themselves.
  • It is therefore imperative that new entities are established that represent the needs, rights and aspirations of people and communities.
  • Society needs to regain its traditional bottom-up chain of command.
  • We, in Africa should have a choice on how, when, and especially by whom we want to be guided and controlled.
  • The Health Defence League is such a grassroots initiative.
  • As of 22 September 2021, it’s fundamental structure and design are in place and will be adjusted and fine-tuned over time.
  • The HDL encompasses the Southern Africa (SADEC) region with its management structure in both South Africa and Namibia.
  • Like all open systems, the HDL will be a dynamic living entity designed by humans for humans.
  • It therefore will have all the characteristics of a living organism and organization.

It's up to you!
